There are over 5 million British X pats living outside of the UK, with the highest proportion living in Australia. A whopping 1.3 million have moved from the Uk to Australia!  Spain, the USA and Canada, also attract the British to different lifestyle.

One thing is for sure, almost all of these Expats will still have family ties in the UK, and at Christmas keeping in touch will be so important! This year will be especially hard, as travel restrictions resulting from Covid, will mean that many trips home will not happen!
