Valentine's Day don't you know is also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine. This is celebrated every year on February 14. Yes yes... we all know most of this BUT did you know... it originated as a Christian feast day honouring Christian Martyrs one aptly named... Saint Valentine.

Now of course it has become very much a significant cultural and commercial celebration of LOVE + ROMANCE! BUT... how about a more Dark Truth about Valentine's Day?

Apparently the ancient Romans Emperor Claudia II executed 2 men who were both named Valentine, guess what date he did this deed? February 14th.... WOW!
